Harden's Cat Haven & Adoptions
In 2003 HOF inherited some property from a cat lover/rescuer. This wonderful gift consists of a large house, apartment, and a few out-buildings on 15 acres. With the help of HOF volunteers, this
'made to order' property was turned into a much needed cat sanctuary. In 2006, the Haven was moved to Lecanto, closer to the clinic to make it more accessible to the public. The idea was
to rescue cats from Animal Control before they were euthanized and give them a second chance to get adopted, much like dogs have a second chance thanks to those dedicated dog-lovers at Room For One More. Since opening our doors we've adopted out several hundred cats and kittens. All cats are spayed or
neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids, dewormed and vaccinated prior to adoption. . The Haven is supported solely by donations and adoption fees. If you would like to make a
donation to the Haven please specify. If you would like to adopt a Haven cat click here for photos and contact information. |
